Slant Timer is a macOS desktop application made by APEX LLC. We respect your privacy and are committed to keeping your data safe. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

Slant Timer is designed to work locally on your Mac. We collect minimal data:

• License validation: When you activate a license key, we send the key and a machine identifier to our server to verify your license. No personal information is transmitted.
• No analytics or tracking: We do not use any analytics, telemetry, or tracking tools in Slant Timer.
• No personal data collection: We do not collect your name, email, location, or any personal information through the app.

Data Stored on Your Device

All your settings, presets, custom sounds, and preferences are stored locally on your Mac using macOS standard storage (UserDefaults and Application Support). This data never leaves your device.

Third-Party Services

Slant Timer uses Supabase for license key validation only. No other third-party services are used. We do not share any data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

SMS Notifications

APEX LLC may operate automated monitoring services that send SMS alerts to designated phone numbers. These messages are sent only to individuals who have explicitly configured their own phone number as an alert recipient. Message frequency varies based on system events. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for assistance.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your information with third parties. Period.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect personal data, there's nothing to delete or export. If you uninstall Slant Timer, all local data is removed with the app.
